Exclamation iPhone 3GS think that's sim Insered w/o sim


iPhone 3GS think that's sim Insered w/o sim all time, when i realy insert sim - nothing happens... any solutions ? I checked both sensors (detectors ) - they are OK

what happens when you restart the phone without sim, which message you get?

Check in settings if modem,imei,bluetooth,wifi adress present.

your Baseband won't work 100%. Maybe you need to reball the PMB6820i chip. What voltages do you have on the coils near this IC?

that means.....you get "searching" message without any sim inserted and you have IMEI?? if yes, which modem version is displayed in settings-->general-->about?

Insert sim check iccid if present then sim is detected,after this do a manual search and see if operator found.
Post Result.I will post solution.

If Modem Firmware and imei is ok and still phone is stuckin searching mode, Then most probably the phones modem firmware is 6.15.

Therefore reflashing ipad baseband with redsn0w must solve the problem.




P.S : Did you upgraded your phone to ios5?

Hello, can you explain that??, in the last 2 weeks 4 clients gave my 4 iphone 3gs that reada sim, but can not be activated, because itunes sent essage no sim inserted, it is not sim card reader, i think it is ios5 related, can you confirm that?

Mate if u write on iphone 3gs wich have 6.15 modem io5 , u need to rewrite ipad baseband again .
That info was writen on dew team when ios5 apeared , try to search first .
