Smile iPhone 4 Baseband chip gets hot

Hello Everyone,

Water damage iphone 4, had corrosion on the bottom of components near battery terminal.

The unit turns on but the baseband chips get very hot; do you think some small components got burn out and causing a short?

Thanks for your input

Here is a picture, I can see some components are burnt.

Can you please tell me which one I should replace to make the baseband chip not get hot?

I can't tell you which ones to replace, you will have to check for shorts with multimeter, first re-solder those caps, to give it a chance, If the board has been heated could be that you would need to lift the bb ic and reball, Heating ic's that are glued makes more problems.
