you should reball audio IC U60 if not solve then change it

same problem

hi i have the same problem with a 4gs

the u60 ic is located near by the A5 processor

i cant attach the image to show you...

i do have another solution for the same fault if you don't have ic for changing then you can do this as well good luck

I have a iphone 4s that was water damaged , I did cleaning with thinner and iso propyl alcohol but still sound on earphone is not working . The external speaker and headphone jack works also vibration works too , also I can change volume but no sound via ear phone.

You are taking nonsence ,this thred is for stop evethng while calling sound then what's the point to put those jumper when we need to replace U60 for all sound function.


If line is open then we need put this jumper for earpiece ,and for rest audio functions we need to replace or reball U60 ,so post you stuff with detail .
