Iphone 4s No sound no mic

My daughter has been using her iphone 4s for months and she tells me that the phone was getting rather hot when using it, she now tells me that the phone has no sound at all and no mic and the headphone jack is not working.

I updated the ios to the latest but still no sound etc..

Can anyone advise me on what the problem may be ? and roughly a price ?

Many thanks

mercury

do you have vibration? if no, it's the audio ic (the glass one near cpu A5) it's hard work, but i done it successfully a few times.. anyway, you need to reball / replace it...
