IPhone 4s touch screen problem

Hi everyone.

I have just bought an iPhone 4s. The screen and digitiser have been replaced ( by 3rdparty unbeknown to me before buying) but it's not working.

The phone switches on etc and the screen comes on with the hello screen but it is completely unresponsive to touch.

I've stripped it down and there are several screws missing and the grounding clips for the battery and camera are also missing. It's obvious some fool has attempted to fix a broken screen and cocked it up.

I have done the usual resets, still the same.

I have plugged a new screen and digi in and powered up but still the same.

I've been searching forum all day and I'm guessing the ic is damaged somehow.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas I could try?

Thanks in advance

Hairy

Thanks James.

Just stripped the phone down again and removed logic board. I isolated the ic and applied heat. I got it pretty nice but unfortunately it's still the same.

I'm guessing the touch ic is goosed. No idea how much that would be to get replaced, but I doubt it would be worth it!

Spare parts for this iPhone 4s or ebay with an honest description.

Thanks
