iPhone 5 battery drain Miss composantes


Hello,

On an iPhone 5 i've got a problem with battery, go down in less 3 Hours, and when down impossible to charge it again.

After having a look on the board, i see that it miss somme composantes

Miss
FL 54
FL 18
C 13
C 12
L 20

my question if i replace all charge Will be Ok ? Can i jump some ?

Bro, your problem is almost certainly caused by a bad charge IC. Replace (NOT reheat/reball) U2 on the logic board and this should solve your problem.

Dont listen to this guy, its not always the U2 IC, you need to get the schematics and see if any of the missing components are CRITICAL! if so you need to replace or jump (if possible).

Thanks that i was thinking to do before,
tell me if i'm wrong after having a look on schematics,

i must replace C12 and C13 for the other i think i can jump
L20 used for one way charge - synch

haha, yeah change U2 IC, why not waste time and money, changing U2 IC solves all iPhone problems!!!!! lets give good advice!!!

try unplug dock connector an see if still same problem before changing any ic. i solved this prblem 3 times by changing dock.

in progress to replace the L20, but really boring to place and weld it.

Just unplugued the dock, i'll see if the battery drain again.

These missing components certainly can not cause a battery drain. Battery drain is almost always caused by U2 IC damage.

I remove U2 IC, wait for a new one ordered, does the iPhone can boot without it ?
Because since i remove it no boot anymore, normal ?
Just expect that i don't damage board white removing U2

I've installed a new U2 IC, but now no boot any more on battery or usb, do you think that the U2 IC is damaged ? Can it cause the no boot ?
