You can burn your U2, PMU or if someone has really bad luck could ignite your battery and the device explode... Q2 has a reverse gate protection and brings the power source (+5V) to U2 and the PMU IC. This power source is called PP5V0_USB_PROT on iPhone 5/C/s and PP_TRISTAR_PIN on iPhone 6/6 Plus. Before changing the Q2, verify if there is +5V on this line when an original charging cable is connected (connected to power obviously) If PP5V0_USB_PROT is present, you might fix the problem by replacing U2, if not, by changing Q2. Member: 467437 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 31 | i have ... almost the same problem on the iPhone 5, it is charging only from power plug, when connected to PC USB it's not charging and not being seen by PC, i have removed the same USB ic made the double jumper solution as a first try, does anyone knows exactly what is wrong and which would be the good solution ? there are 3 solutions with 3 jumper to be applied over the internet. Phone showing charging but again, only from power adapter, from PC nothing, it is not being seen in DFU as well. |
