I have same problem. iphone 5 does not charge If I turned off it. If I turned on it, I can charge but If battery dies completelly than I cannot turn on anymore or charge. which IC must be replaced? Does jumper solution solve this problem?

same problem with one iphone 5, have some pads lifted. there is any alternative point? can anyone have a good board to measure it?

The problem is U2 IC. Search forum for U2 IC and you will get lot of information.
