Member: 1536098 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | iPhone 5 CPU Voltage lines problem iPhone 5 I have an iPhone 5 all lines going from the PMIC to CPU have LOW VOLTAGE. PP1V1_CPU0_FET = .860 PP1V1_CPU1_FET = .860 PP1V1_CPUB = .860 PP1V1_SOC = .986 All the voltages lines above are supposed to be 1.1 volts MY VOLTAGE RESULTS are on the RIGHT and i am POSITIVE that .860 volts on 3 CPU lines is enough to stop the phone from working properly. Also I am sure if I can get those voltage lines back up to 1.1 volts the phone will be FULLY FUNCTIONAL What should I do. Should I 1) Remove some capacitors to increase voltage to CPU 2) Replace the coils (maybe they are loosing there amplification effect) 3) Reheat PMIC. by the way there is not SHORT on any capacitor I have checked. Also the PMIC is not fried because it still puts\ out a voltage to all 4 CPU lines. |

Member: 2289832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 48 | I not think any of these can help. At which point do u measure the voltage? Cpu fet0 and cpu fet1 are converted by q5 and q6 to cpu0 and cpu1 u have to measure those voltage. If u have same, i think it is pmic or cpu itself. It cannot be that all coils short or open at same time. But ignore this now try find other fault some times any short can couse pmic not work properly. |
