Iphone 5 Front cam not working - GSM-Forum

Hello i got an Iphone 5 with the front cam not working..

i looked at the motherboard and i think there is missing a resistor or something.
can somebody tell me how i can fix this and if the lost part has something to do with the front cam?
here is a picture of what i mean:

on the right in the red circle

The C298 is not for the front camera, is component of compass. So first try another front camera flex, if not working you must check one by one some other parts of front camera circuit. Try and post.

Tomorrow i will order a new camera flex, and i will post the results!

Yes, same with mine, replaced flex and it works perfect

By solution you mean changing flex ? I ordered onebut it did not arrive yet

So i changed flex and its still not working, what else to try?
