Member: 1873863 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 67 | Hi Sandy, i am very happy to announce that i have found what it was the problem of "no service" on my iphone 5. The problem was the capacitor C701_RF missing after being water damaged ! Yes, this little cap act as a bypass filter for the signal RF_CLK > XO_REF and without this signal U701_RF does not work. Now my network is back again and the phone is working good ! ;-) bye! Davide |

Member: 1873863 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 67 | NO NO NO !! Don't jump capacitors if you don't know what you are doing !! C367 is on PP_VBATT line, you jumped the battery to ground ! C367 is only a leveling capacitor, you can leave it removed, no need to replace to make the phone working. But it does nothing for the gsm signal. |
