iPhone 5 Lock/Sleep button solution


Some i5 has Lock button problem.
I's clicking, but no respone.
It's not same problem like iphone 4.
where is the failure? The flex cable tear?

someone has a tendency to be improved?

or always replace?

Any ideas for an easy fix for the iphone 5 power button instead of changing the flex.

ie, for the iphone 4/4s you can just glue another black dot on the power button flex instead of changing the flex.

i dont replace complete flex,,,,,,,,,
remove two resisters near power button
and make jumper to button directly,,,,,,no need to open volume side
the failur between resistor and button,,,

maybe you are right, because the button is working fine, but the lock / sleep function is bad.

iphone 5 power button is clicking but its not working, i have 5 phones with the same problem, everytime i change the flex, but thats bad... can i do it without change flex?

just replace the flex it won't take more than 15 min
and its cheap
