Iphone 5 no cam or flash working

I have been reading on the forum about my problem with no rear or front camera or flash working, looks like the u13 or one of the 2 smd ic behind it, has anyone had the same problem and fixed it ?

I see it's either a front or rear camera fix on most threads not all three things at once.

The phone has a drain on the battery from a short, so will have a better look at it later on when I get a chance, the front camera resistors and caps are all there with the cover still over them but sure the problem is on the other side of the board with the rear camera as I have not taken it out just had a quick look at the front camera connector.

Any reply would be great thanks.

Have had time to take it apart now took the back camera out and the front started to work.
So fingers crossed its just the back camera that's at fault as nothing seems out of place or burnt.
what's the best way to test that u13 ic ?

Since I have taken the back camera out the battery speedy discharge has stopped it seems and the phone nice and cold now when in use.

Noticed there seems to be a small problem with sim as well, seems it makes it invalid after 24 hours in the phone, I wake up to invalid sim, any fixes for this I had to cut down an old sim card to make it a nano, as I do not want to swap my number from old iphone 4s to nano without a back camera.

Anyone out there willing to help ?

Ok got another iphone 5 checked continuity on the old and the new camera and the old back camera has continuity with 2 pins that's not supposed to so fingers crossed its just the back camera that's bad and not another part that's broken the camera will have a look at schem later see what those connections go to and test those parts before adding another back camera.
