Member: 2272501 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | iphone 5 - replaced screen without dissassembly battery I'm very new in this world. I hope this forum will help me. I made a big mistake, I replace an iphone 5 display without removing the battery. The result is obviously a black screen turning the iphone on. I wanna know if I damaged only the display or some component on the motherboard ? I just order a new display. Can I will see the iphone working replacing the display with the new one ? I heard also that some display have some metal exposed and isolating them probably it will work. This is right ? How can I test the display corrupted ? I just bought a text display flex cable by I have not idea how it works. Thanks in advance for any help, Brunix |
