Iphone 5 short between positive and negative


Hello,

I have one iphone 5 who have a short between positive and negative connections battery. It happened after a little little little water damaged. The board is clean, so, how can i find the short please ? Thanks

Might be where it gets very hot, can use electronics freeze spray to see which defrosts first, or test around where water was spilt, probably under a chip where you cannot see, has dried sulphur type corrosion connecting positive negative together making a short.

Finding full short its not so difficult, start by removing coroded capacitors in batt vcc line, and if you still cant find , connect to power and see which element heats up first.
