Member: 1695219 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | iphone 5c missing pad battery connector Whatever it may have to do with bga fractures under u2 or pmic..... under the microscope i discovered that one of the pins of the battery connector moves if i push it. I resoldered this one with some flux and leadsolder (pb) but it still moves what leads me to the assumption that the pad underneath went off and only has an unstable connection, if at all. I need another point on the pcb to bridge. Anyone knows the ways so that I can rewire in order to circumvent the unreliable pad ? It is the one in the middle, on the side with the shielding, not on the side of the battery. thanks kiez |

Member: 1695219 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | schematics found push push :-) i found the schematics, removed c279 and fl11 and jumped fl11. Still no change ( maybe it reboots less :-) I think with the pressure of the bracket on the connector the middle gauge pin has connection. Should I jump it with fl11 anyway to go sure ? Can my problem have other reason ? Please, so many geniuses here :-= |

Member: 1695219 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | just in case it may help others. . . fixed by bridging the middle pin of the battery terminal with the pads (or just the left one) of fl11. So fl11 and c279 are missing but the phone works fine now without any anomaly. If you still have these components you should wire to the right contact of fl11 or the left of c279. I had to remove the terminal first in order to have space to work and soldered a new terminal back then. I combined iron and hot air and used low melt solder to make the plastic of the terminal survive :-) |
