my iphone 5 gsm only charges when it is turned on if it turns off power it doesn't charge and im using original cable and plug and tried it on other phones there is no problem

Hello there,

i just received another phone with the same problem. customer said he re-soldered the lightning pin from his charging cable after a cable break and it stopped working after he tried to charge it with his newly fixed cable.

phone displays charging symbol but doesn't really charge, the charge on the battery does not change. I need to find the damage first. did you have any luck repairing it?
