iPhone 5S Charging issue on two phones

I have two iPhone 5S from customers and both only charge with certain chargers. Its very strange, the chargers which don't charge them work fine on my iPhone 6 and other iPhones we have in store, they are brand new original iPhone 5 cables.

The chargers that work, one is an original apple cable but an older one we have been using for test use for the last 6 months and the other is a third party charger, both work fine.

I have tried several different docks and batteries but always the same result, can anyone help please?

Seems strange that both phones exhibiting the same issue.

Thanks in advance.

They probably aren't genuine cables. I had a similar problem recently 100 cables. Some would work with some phones, not with others. Some would work first time you plug in, unplug and not working. I have a 6 port outlet. Some would only work in the second hole. Was really going crazy and ended up throwing them away.

Good quality aftermarket cables are always better then counterfeit ones.
