iPhone 5S doesn't vibrate after LCD replacement

Hi,

I've recently replaced the LCD on my iPhone 5S but when the screen is properly seated it does not vibrate. When I lift the screen up slightly it will vibrate, it's like something is blocking the motor from spinning but I've no idea what it can be.

I've tried moving the bracket that covers the camera as far over towards the camera as I can but it makes no difference.

Hopefully somebody has some ideas as nobody seems to have an answer

Cheers guys

I've done that a few times, it works when the LCD is not on. As stated I have also moved the metal holding the ear piece.

hello, i had that problem, you probably bent a little bit too much the metal bracket that holds the earpiece, remove it and push it inside at the opposite side you pushed when removing it, than try again.
if not solved, remove the bracket and the earpiece, install the screen and check if it works, if it works bent the metal bracket or just replace it.

Tried removing it yesterday as well and I pushed it all the way underneath the earpiece speaker, it can't possibly be pushed to the left anymore, it's tucked underneath it.

should I try give it a little bit of room from the earpiece speaker and push it to the right a little? I'll give it a go and update shortly, thanks for your input. It seems nobody except me has ever had this problem

Okay I snapped the right bracket off as IMO it's useless and it does the same thing.

Lol, I don't believe it. Dumbest error I've ever made. The reason this was not working was because the light sensor for the front camera was left out of the bracket (I thought this was where it was supposed to be because of the square space on the LCD) I realized now there's a space for that piece to slot in next to the camera and now the phone vibrates. what a moron, oh well, lesson learned!

iPhone 5s doesn't vibrate

Check these causes:
1. Vibrator itself might have become faulty due to any of the reasons.
2. Vibrator problem also arises due to water or any kind of physical damage.
3. Connection between on-board connector and vibrator’s contacts could be broken.
4. There could be dust or rust over vibrator’s contacts.
Any of the components or vibrator controller IC can also be faulty.

If it is still not solved please change the vibrator with a new one. Here I know a good supplier which provides with iPhone 5s vibrate-HCQS (www dot hcqsdot cc)
