The finger print button must be damaged, probably you need to change it. Bring it to a professional for final decision.

Firstly update your iTunes and then restore and update your iPhone 5s with latest version 7.1.2 i think you will get the solution of your finger print problem.

i heard that you can't replace Touch ID sensor. Touch ID sensor uniquely linked to each individual A7 chip.

search on google

U cant replace the home button it is linked with ur phones CPU
If u replace it, it will only work as home button not as fingerprint scanner

Hi I seems like the home button has been replaces for a different one I thinks this is the reason why it's not working. I have restore to the latest iOS still has the same problem.

There must be someone who must have found a solution to fix it

I can confirm that I had this problem and tried replacement buttons that did not work. I bought a complete faulty 5s mobile of the same colour (champagne) replaced the home button and the fingerprint sensor worked fine. So guys maybe there is some hope. What can we work out from this??

Donate money to this user
You need the original home button flex, remove ic, and place on new ribbon flex.
