iphone 5s power ic gets hot after water damage

Customer brought in an iPhone 5s from sprint after being lightly dipped in water. phone doesn't power on what so ever, took a IR temp reader to the power ic U7 and i clocked it around 203 degrees F , i don't want to jump right into replacing the PMU, any thing i can check and diagnose to stop if from over heating and potentially power this bad boy back up?? also L9 resistor looks discolored and maybe slightly shifted but nothing crazy! any ideas post here !!! thanks in advance

Donate money to this user
first check whether mother board is short or not ???

and also try to find out is there any other spare (capasitor , resistor )short ...

if not try to change the power ic , by cleaning the gum carefully,
patiently

regards
