Iphone 6 backlight issue

Hi there and first sorry for my bad english.

I got a dead water damaged iphone 6, after giving it an ultrasonic bath it came back to life. All works fine except sometimes the brightness goes down with no possibility to increase it. I first thought it was a backlight issue but after some consideration i wonder if i’m right and i prefer asking for advises before removing cpu shield, the only one i didn’t remove before ultrasonic bath.
When the problem occurs i still have a very very low backlight, it is not a no backlight issue, i just can’t increase it. Sometimes it lasts few minuts and then the normal brightness comes back without doing anything, sometimes it lasts more time.

Thank for your help.

Sometimes the filter is "in the air" and this may be the reason. What is the power of your ultrasonic cleaner?
