Member: 2394174 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | iPhone 6 frame came off after been used for a few days Recently, Three of my customers came to me and told me that the screen I've replaced on their iPhone 6 a few days before has come off. Everthing of the screen is working fine except the frame, which is quite annoying. My supplier refused to take responsible of these defective screen which I would never order part from them. Here is the question, do any of you have any suggestions for these "defective" screens? Pics attached: Imgur Imgur Imgur |

The reason was they changed to a cheaper loca glue which wasn't curing properly. If you would of brought the parts from reputable dealers they would of replaced it. I have seen plenty of 5, 5s, 5c and 6 screens with this issue snd have had no issue getting the screens replaced. You could also put a little super glue at the location where it is coming off. |

Member: 2414159 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | yes, check it out here: Reasons Behind & Solutions for iPhone 6 Frame and LCD Separation Issues - ETrade Supply according to them, there're 3 main reasons: 1. The LCD and frame were bonded by cheap and low quality glue. 2. iphone 6 frame is thinner, machinery and process used for previous iPhone models are not applicable. 3. Unqualified working environment. |
