iPhone 6 goes off while reaplacing Touch IC - GSM-Forum

iPhone 6 come to me for touch not working at all issue and i tried replacing the touch ic (black) 4 times and after replacing the ic 4th time phone stop powering on. Need the help from the experts what can be the cause to stop powering on and after that how to solve the touch ic

Why you replace 4 times the chip? Just remove it again an boot normal. Try to install properly.

if you have tried to change 4 times U2402 and no luck
try to change U2401

device is dead?
Check C1552,C1597,C1530,C1531,C1505,U1502:if no luck
Check U1501,U1503,U1602
check leads pop out on coil that make other components grounded.

You heat the motherboard too long and maybe power ic is bad now. Try to restore in DFU else reball power ic and then if it does not work then CPU gone, Say good bye to phone.

yes i think because yesterday i took the piece of iron on it to check the short there then i notice that some of the soldering balls around the A8 chip.

can i remove the A8 chip to reball it ?

Well.. A8 is CPU. It is possible to reball it but you must be very good. Check out some youtube videos.
