Member: 2289832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 48 | iphone 6 long screw damage i have iphone 6 the customer tried change screen. device not working just dfu mode. cpu or the coils around it getting really hot. i investigate the board with scope the screw holes at the left corner and in the middle of lcd connector are damaged. do u think it is cousing the problem. i tried removing screw holder with solder iron but it doesnt work. how can i remove them are they soldered or glued. anyone any idea. thanks |

Member: 2289832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 48 | I removed the screw holders. U need some bigger iron. Take a bit solder it come off easy. It is ground layer under screws. I remove this first layer it was shorting to tracks underneath. I have still short somewhere but cpu not get hot. Maybe there is other problm too or cpu damaged from short. I feed back if i solve this. |
