Solution: Had the same problem today with an iphone 6.. Baseband firmware was empty in settings menu. Kept showing searching.. I have reheated the baseband ic on 400 degrees celcius with Flux for 15 seconds. Fixed the problem

hello
i have similar case, but i ve gone too fare with trying to fix it, but no luck.
iphone6 water damage cleaned, but no service.
i replaced all components from the lower part of the pcb from both sides, except the baseband i reballed it.
still same peoblem

I am having the same issue with an iphone 6. It just show SEARCHING and IMEI exists, date and time set correctly. Hope someone out there has some suggestions. Thanks

Hello
Just check if you can get the imei by dialing *#06#
Usually you shouldn't get any response if it is baseband problem, even if imei exists in "settings/general/about"
I solved such case twice. 1st one was due to baseband pmu and the 2nd was due to tracks cut-off under baseband

dear bro sure the 1. red screen 2. searchnig insert sim or with out sim 3. erroe 4013 [not riestoring after extracting showing apple logo then off the device ] all are same problm [ apple 338s1210] audio ic

Thank you very much for this post!

Iphone 6 info showed me IMEI and firmware, but NO SERVICE

But no respone on *#06#

After reflow BB chip, everything is working fine!
