iPhone 6 Plus Restarts Itself

I got this iPhone 6 Plus and it kept on restarting after the initial bootup. Sometimes it gets pass the apple screen and I'm able to charge it, but then it would reboot itself after a minute or so. Did the same thing if I put a new battery in there. No water damage

Now it just doesn't boot at all.

Any ideas?

1st try to restore to see iTunes error.

Can you connect to a power supply and see how it behaves during boot section? Regular boot shouldnt go higher than 1A~1.5A, and lower to ~200mA after boot on standby...

You likely have higher amperage than usual, but now that it won't boot at all, it may be harder to troubleshoot the problem... Remove the logic board and try to boot it alone, watch where the heat builds up. Also check if it draws amperage prior to booting it, if it draws anything it's led to VCC_MAIN short.

When I hook it up to the power supply and turn on the power, it shows ~550mA of current but the screen does not turn on. If I don't press the button to power the phone on, there is no prior amperage.

Remove the logic board from the housing and power it on so you can feel where the heat is being created.
