Hi,

i have and iPhone 6 sometimes power button stop working.
If i restart with assistive touch it's ok for a moment (5 minutes to 2 hours)

when power button don't work , if i short J0801 PIN2 to the ground, the systeme detect power button press.

I test power button and continuity is ok when i press it.
I try with another power buttton but same problem .

An idea ?

it's ios11 issue, try restore it.

really thank you, i pass a lot of time on it and i don't undestand.
But why it work when i short pin2 directly on j0801? less resistance?

i made DFU restoration yesterday but same pb this morning

Then test it with an other power flex.

i think i found the problem.
i have testing ground line from board to the power button and found a big resistance.

the ground pin was twisted, continuity is now ok from ground board to power button and when i press on it i have ground on fl0809.
I will test the phone today to see if it's good

Its ios 11.0.3 fault, downgrade to ios 10
but you cant so just throw this junk in the trashcan
have several iphones with this problem
apple really succ now

Hey, no its IOS11 when Clock its not udpate power button not ok !!
