Have an iPad 4 now doing same thing. Anyone ever fix this issue? This is what 3utools says but iTunes hangs at “waiting for iPad” forever and never throws a code

After all these changed still get the same error. Maybe some internal NAND problem (don't have a NAND programmer).

If you find a solution, I would be glad if you share it. Maybe for the next phone with the same problem...

Greetings
I had the same issue.
"fdrtrustdata" on 3uTools
But i do restore from iTunes in DFU mode and working fine.

Exact same issue here. Dies 20% in 3u sending FDRTrustData. Stuck in itunes forever.

Don't have a nand programmer but I know someone who does. gotta be a bad nand, I'd think.

I had the same problem after changing the display and the home button. The phone worked perfectly for a week, after the phone got stuck in the boot loop. I tried to flash the firmware with 3uTools because I did not want to lose my data (basically my photos) because unfortunately I did not make a backup, but I stay still or at 20% or 38% where I read "writing filesystem". Has anyone managed to solve keeping the data?

I'm doing board repair as a hobby, just to see, what is fixable and what is not. Now I got an iPhone 6 that is not able to restore.

I tried the restore in iTunes and in 3utools. iTunes will stuck for ever (I let it sit for 2 hours without progress), 3utools will stop with a timeout at 20 percent ("Sending FDRTrustData"). The restore gets until the apple logo with progress bar and then nothing moves, no error message from iTunes. The device is still recognized by the computer. I tried on another PC, and other USB cables, new battery all the same.

At first I tried another connector - still the same. Then changed tristar - still the same. What I noticed yesterday was that in the moment where everything stops (when the apple logo with the progressbar appear) the PP5V0_USB drops from 5V to about 4.5V. At this time the phone draws about 0.5 amps over the USB. PP3V0_TRISTAR, PP1V8_SDRAM, PP_VCC_MAIN are all normal readings. No signs for liquid damage.

Any one an idea what it could be/what I could check next?

Thanks and greetings
hiii same problem occurred with my device to

i just removed a shorted capacitor near nand

and it worked.

hope it works for you

Thankyou

Hopefully it's okay to jump into this thread as it's the same topic as I was going to post. I have an iPhone 7 stuck in a recovery loop. Using 3u, it gets stuck at Sending FDRTrust Data. I've tried using recover mode as well as putting the phone in DFU mode. In iTunes, it gets stuck at verifying update/verifying restore.

Has anyone had any success in resolving this issue? Is there anything I can try? Not afraid to open the phone (already have replacement adhesive seals ready).

Where does 3u send this information (RootTicketNORData, FDRTrustData, etc.)?

Hi all,

Have same problem here (stuck on sending FDRTrust data) while trying to restore an ipad Air 2 after unsucessful upgrade to iPadOS 13...went to the local Apple premium reseller, and they couldn't update it neither...

I tried with ITunes, 3utools and idevicerestore...does anyone have an idea how to fix this ?

What does this mean exactly? Is it that the NAND is physically faulty and needs to be swapped out, or is it that the NAND needs to be reflashed (and thereby creating a new phone with a new IMEI)?

How do iDevices end up in this state in the first place?
