Member: 2762729 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 32 | Most of the touch ID failures are resulted by damaged home button touch ID flex. Actually your home button is OK. However if you replace a new home button, you will lose its touch ID sensor function. Because for iPhone 5s and later versions, touch ID is paired with CPU, which means you should replace the home button and motherboard at the same time.
