iPhone 6s dead 80ma


I got a iPhone 6s with water damage. after perfect clean the board i press power button. the current gets up to 120ma after and go down to 80ma and stay there. Nothing gets warm.
where should I search first.

Now that you have checked the main power lines, you need to check ALL of the outputs from the PMIC and then the BB_PMU. Look for shorts and work your way from there.

I had iPhone like this the water damage under chistnut I replaced it and backlight driver

Try to remove those drivers and try to boot this iPhone

I got no PP_GPU an at C2012 -C2021 12 Ohm to Grund.

That seems okay. You cannot measure the voltage of PP_GPU unless the screen is "on". That means plug the logic board to a Lightning cable and then check the voltage.

You don't need to worry about PP3V3_ACC, it's only on for a brief moment at the very beginning. However you need to check PMU_LDO8 & PP2V85 for shorts.

I'm not sure about LDO8, it doesn't seem to go anywhere according to the schematic. As for the 2V85, it's not necessary. I would also check the U_PMU_RF to see if the voltages are present.

C3613_RF

Now the Problem is on U_PMU_RF ?
