Member: 2092009 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 30 | iphone 6s full Short help i got a 6s which was in charge and dead it was full short the battery connector +and- so brought power supplay voltage to 1.5 volt and checked that q2300 heating so take out that and now the short gone but when power on nothing happens phone dont take voltage also the capistors near u2300 is short both side is ground i take out most of them like c2330 c2301 and all thos which was short but still short even i take out u2300 ic and u3700 ic but still short anyone can help me now main problum PP_VCC_MAIN short |

Member: 1929960 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 27 | Q2300 is not shorted, it passes current from vbatt to vcc_main and when there is a short on vcc_main, it heats up due to current overload. what you need to do is bypass Q2300 by jumping from C2333 to C2303. This will then allow a lot of current to bypass Q2300 and all that power will heat up the real short on VCC_main and make it easier to find. |

Member: 985157 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Hi, I have same problem , ip6s shorted q2300 gets heat, Can u pls clearly explain how to bypass q2300 by jumping c2333 and c2303 ? or removing q2300 injecting voltage point ? Thanks |
