If it's a resistor you can't short it, it'll either cause a short on the line or provide too much current to some circuit.

Usually a resistor is used as a pull-up or voltage divider. Can you show us its location on schematic?

iPhone 6S Plus Touch ID not work

It's a 0 ohm resistor used as a jumper. You can jump it

Hi. I checked the components near the connector, and except the resistor that was not (and already jump it) the rest are all okay. I would check the Toch ID IC, is the U4040?

And if You put back the original one what happen?
Touch id is very sensitive part, You have to heat a little bit before get the flex or connector out.

I have not been able to solve it. Also I have another problem! When I connect the FPC of the front camera, it stops responding the touch! Already tested with another spare.

Touch quality

I had the same problem on my store! But was the lcd+touch quality.,try an other one,bought in a diferent place . Worked for me,it should work for you.
