iPhone 7 plus touch id not working after screen replacement - GSM-Forum

I changed a screen on a white iPhone 7 and now the touch id isn't working anymore. The home button works fine. When I want to add fingerprint it"s just showing the begin screen but nothing more happens. What could be the problem? Can it be a bad connector from the screen?

Here is a verified solution which help me to resolve the same issue:

Anybody try this solution? I lately broke the flex from the home button and after replacement touch id not working.

In this solution you have to be skilled in microsoldering job.

When you replace by a new spare , chip is missing

This is not going to work since touchid chip is inside button.
