Member: 1911098 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | Hi Just want to share something I came across. Had an iPhone 8 with backlight not working at all. Not just some parts being dark. So I checked all three fuses which you are pointing in your picture and all three was fine. Then I had another look and noticed that a IC close by was damaged. It was pressed and had a corner missing. So I replaced it and backlight was working again https://imgur.com/a/xAyVHv2 |

Member: 2726740 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | iphone 8 no touch at all iPhone 8 came in simple screen replacement turn out to be no touch screen did work for 5 mints then it stopped i was having a trouble with home button while i was looking into it that's where screen stopped i tried new Pfc connector all the caps around the Pfc connector can't get touch back |

If it's a software problem, just use a professional iOS system recovery tool to fix it without data loss; otherwise, it is advisable to head for the Apple Store to resolve the hardware issue rather than replace it by yourself since fixing the iPhone backlight is extremely sophisticated. |
