iphone carkit conversion

Hi All,

I am trying to convert a Sharp gx10 carkit to an iphone socket.

I have found the pinouts for both, but having trouble translating the sharp pinout diagram into something user friendly (and I am not a real techo).

I got the pinout for the sharp gx10 etc which is what I believe it is.
You can find it here: http://pinouts.ru/al...10_pinout.shtml (11, 8, 16 not used in carkit)
I have colour coded the connector up based on the pinout and can share this.
I have the apple pin out also
http://www.allpinout...and_iPhone_dock
http://pinouts.ru/Po...od_pinout.shtml
I got 4 out of 13 easy, but the rest is a little confusing, the acronyms are different and I'm not a audio communications electrician!

I got the ground, audio ground, send and received figured

Can anyone please help in translating the sharp pinout into what the terms mean, ie which ones are line in and out, power etc

thanks in advance!

It's build into the loom, steering controls, built in mic etc, hence why I would like to try and use it
