i have iphone 3g not powering on but when i plug charger it shows charging cell

my friend first of all open the iphone ant put the battery out and charge it with desktop charge after charge half an hour put the battery back and check if problem not solve bro change baterry your problem will be solve 100000000000% insh***** i try many time
