iPhone doesn't charge but charge symbol comes up?

Hi

It's an iPhone 4 16gb which connects to iTunes fine and the charge symbol comes up when plugged in.
I have replaced the battery twice already with a brand new one..What could be the problem with this?

Could a new charge port fix it maybe...

Thanks a lot.

It could be the charging IC, but I would replace the charging port first.

SIMTester I have replaced the charging port now but the problem is still here. I now have to learn how to fix this IC charging part on the main board.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

The iPhone also stays warm even when completely shut off, is it related..
