Member: 2037770 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 114 | yellow small tint on my iphone 4s after i send him to repair guy the problem was that the iphone won't turned off and experiencing a battery drain it uses a lot of power after doing a research i found out that maybe a cleaning of usb dock connector may solve this problem but it's not ...i bring him to a local repair guy and he said after checking the board he don't have a new dock connector so he returns it to me ..after 1 day now i'm experiencing a yellow tint on my iphone 4s up side of home button on screen is it normal ? i've heard it's normal it will go after weeks. what i have to do please help ? |

Member: 1376288 Status: Offline Sonork: phone21 Thanks Meter: 17 | Hi guys : I bought a iphone 4s on ebay: This had a broken battery connector and the 2nd battery line from bottom to top was broken and I soldered a wire from that line to connector . Nothing comes on screen , but when I connect it to pc itunes detect it in recovery mode and asked me to restore , then I clicked restore , after the restore file downloaded and extracted the phone showed apple symbol and restore progress bar appeared but the bar doesnt move it is stuck in 0% also itunes says waiting for iphone. |

Leave screen off for 3-4 minutes and works again for 30 seconds or so then fades to white again. Tried different screen and same problem. Any ideas guys?? |

Tried: - Hard reset ( home + power buttons) - Holding the home button while connecting the data cable. - Checked the connectors are popped in. - Tried to connect it to itunes with the battery disconnected. Nothing worked. Any ideas? |

Then I unplugged from charge, phone is getting colder and then if I use phone, this time Toshiba IC getting hot. I tried to use phone without back camera, lcd screen and digitizer off. Still same issue. Thank you. |

Member: 1049764 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1678585 Thanks Meter: 62 | restoring to custom 4.2.1, I have restored it to 4.1 stock firmware (iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw) and after the restore, you will still get 1015 error, but miraculously the recovery mode logo has changed if you observe properly, just ignore the error and use either recboot or iREB-4.0.x-4.1-RC2 to kick the phone out of recovery mode, the restoring bar will start again and wait until finish, you will get an Iphone with firmware 4.1 and baseband 6.15, use redsn0w to jailbreak and ultrasn0w to unlock |
