Member: 2369411 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | iPhone 4 dropped under water, WiFi grayed out I have an iPhone 4, this one was dropped in water. The WiFi was grayed out until then, I disassembled the device and cleaned with a contact cleaner, but nothing changed... So I dig deeper and removed some of the metal blocs that protects the motherboard, and I came across a short circuit spot (or smt like that). And this one corresponds to this component which is likely a capacitor. And I'm wondering if it's possible to repair it, and if it's the cause of the greyed wifi. I can't post images, can anyone guide me? Best regards, d3monCorp |
