iPhone 6 plus error 4005 after water damage

Hello Folks

I got an iphone 6 plus water damaged. I removed the metal shields on the board and it got cleaned real good. But still this is no power and while attempting to restore through itunes an error 4005 pops up.

I need a more professional help on this case and i was hoping that you guys could guide me on this one.

I hope to hear from you guys soon.

Thanks

I disconnected and reconnected cables again, turned phone off and back on a couple of times, and even disconnected and reconnected battery. The weird thing is digitizer would work at first when I did those actions but then it would stop working seconds later. I though that it was a bad lcd so i tried a different lcd and still had same problem. Even put on first broken lcd back and digitizer was still not working.

Everything else was working fine. if the problem is not with the LCD part, then what is it?
Did you not disconnect battery first? something is shorted, or damaged, inspect it carefuly.

Hi, Inspect board closely, look for missing ends on capacitors etc, resolder them, test for shorts, water damage= short.

Long story short, I short circuited my second most expensive asset through a usb-male-audio-male. I'm devastated. It can't be turned on anymore. I'm not rich. I was still giddy about saving a dozen dollars during black Friday sales.

I understand basic elements of circuits. So I want to fix it myself.

I suspect that the battery is down. And I suspect some excessive current protection mechanism was triggered. The battery can be replaced easily.

So my question is that what might have been broken, and how to fix them.

If you can kindly share your knowledge, I will be grateful.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that my device is an iPhone 5

Hi to all, This is my first thread here, I have a iphone 4s when i plug in the charger is working fine a little heat above the sim slot ,show it is charging ,has signal ,at the first look it all right but the ios it is a little frozy and when i remove the charger after 1-2 sec Bang ,shuts off and when i press power button show no battery ,i have tried a new battery same issue ,i have restored to factory settings (no error) , set up as a new iphone same issue ,for sure its a hardware problem ,i have looked at the motherboard with shields off and i don`t see water/resin signs or else,i think that heat above the sim slot is the probblem ,so can anyone please tell me where to begin or another ideea ?
