hi everybody,
it's my first post in this forum and i wish not to be in wrong place to do my request.

i have problem with iphone 3gs who fall on liquid, i open and clean properly oxydation, then i plug on computer and check if it work itunes reconize it so i switch off replace LCD connecteur who was destroid and restart phone without problem i plug the screen and when i push power or home in both case the screen switch on in white... i just was thinking to hold power and home until it switch off and i would see this apple logo but nothing screen keep black !
i try again and same white screen i do reset and black ! now i plug any screen (who work) it stays black. i can only turn on phone but that's it.

I check resistor on the back as in the description off WITES (thanks a lot to him by the way !! amazing geniune)
but nothing suspect i just didnt check IC and filter under the LCD connector as he show on step 3. i didn't check the coil or quartz ( but its for touch screen quartz ) im little bit lost now and would be happy to have any helps.

if somebody have any idea ? do i solder LCD so bad that i make short circuit (flash) i check and its not so bad but i will change it again.

hi, i just wanted to add that i change LCD conector and its well made now im sure of my work i check conection with multimeter and when i plug again my screen come back to withe but even if i try again to hold home + power it still the same (((

this lcd conector was damaged and it might even been shortcuts with GND pin previously.
An other important thing for board pin on the back of connector the tow firsts pin after GND when you start looking by the righ corner was very hard to solder because of the oxydation i test on the rear of the board capcity, resistor and filtre all is right !

for me its easy to test diode, resistor, capa... but so far im keep looking at those IC's, PMIC or others cube's and scratch my head

I got a dead iPhone 4, turns out it doesn't detect battery. when I plug in the charger, it boots as there is no battery in it. So when you unplug, it shuts off. I tried with many other batteries, no luck.
Where do I look to get this fixed?

Hello, my first post here.. i really need a little help please.
A few weeks ago the battery of my iphone 3gs burned or simply died while charging in a usb adaptor to the cigarrete lighter in my car (chinese cheap product).
The phone didn't turn on for nothing, so I buyed a new battery (a cheap one in ****, the APN is 616-0435, and the older was 616-0433, does this difference cause any problem? ).
With this new battery the phone charges, but very slowly, and loses the charge very quickly, even when the phone its off it loses battery, or even while charging, if play some game or see a movie. If i dont touch im, in 7 or 8 hours it full charges. It connects to itunes with any problem.
With an iphone of a friend, I tested my logic board with his battery and dock conector, and the problems continued, so its seems a problem with the board.
The phone doesnt have warranty, any tips or just will have to sell it?

Hi bro.I have a problem with my 3gs..I bought before a few days,for parts..The phone is dead and when i put a good battery,the pmic hot very much..I change the diode who is near ,and now is ok(not hot)..The phone is dead,and multimeter measures the battery contacts on motherboard ,and i saw that have 38ohm...What can i do?

hello i have iphone 4s which is water damage, the iphone 4s do ture on when i change the battire but it get heated and keep rebooting after 3 to 5 mins. need HELP PLZ

Hi mate, my 3GS was water damage. Cleaned and found that some of the pins are missing of the display socket. may i have the display ways so that i can make jumpers. Thanks!

Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS to repair that when camera is started, sounds like if the camera were focusing all the time. Some times, works but most of the time isn't working. What can I do? Board has some marks of water but I cleaned it completly.

Iphone 4s, itunes sees it, when plugged into dock, heat around A5 (U52) and around U5 but not when plugged into battery, can someone give me some points of where to check-voltage ect.. The schematics are a bit confusing to follow the path from the Dock connector. Also, the metal cage around the IC's, i removed the tops, do you just desolder the metal cage?
