1) Insert a working sim in your iPhone 2) Go to "SETTING" 3) Select "Carrier" 4) see if the carrier information is available, if you can see the carrier and select it your problem isent hardware but a blocked Imei! If you not found any network then your problem is hardwere, then you will try to change : 1) antenna flex 2) Blue coil 3) Gsm module. Try & let me know K.R Furqan | |

Member: 2273643 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Temperature Alert; cant get passed lock screen Hey there, I recently dropped my iphone 5 and since then I am not able to unlock my phone. After dropping the phone it came up with a temperature warning on the screen saying the phone needed to cool down. After restarting it multiple times the phone is able to recieve notifications which I can view from the lock screen and accept phone calls. When I try to unlock the phone it will let me enter the passcode but wont let me into the phone itself. I have tried connecting the phone to my computer but it wont stay conncected long enough for me to do anything. I put the phone into recovery mode and tried restoring it to no avail. I am out of warranty and a repair would set me back $260. I have an upgrade in exactly 3 months so I dont want to drop that kind of money on a phone I wont be using shortly. My prediction is that when I dropped the phone it either damaged the sensor that registers the temperature or knocked it loose. What are your thoughts on this problem? |
