This happens to me after I changed the Lcd. I had to open the phone and unloosen the right bottom corner screw, where Lcd flex connect to the board.

Question Iphone 5 & 5s Black screen after screen replacement

Hi
i hope someone can please help with this problem.
I have replaced 100's of screens in the past and never had this problem.
I had two phones to repair today iphone 5 and iphone 5s.
both were working when i got them but had smashed touch screens.
I disconnected the battery on both phones before fitting.
The iphone 5s was the first phone i tried the screen it worked ok so i fitted it.
before closing the phone i attached the battery and tested it and the screen is black but the backlight is on, its recognised in itunes but the screen stays black.
I disconnected the screen and tried the original screen thats also now black but backlight is on. Tried several other screens same problem.

Iphone 5 was the same scenario, The only difference this time was i disconnected the battery and tried the screen before fitting and it went straight to black screen but lit backlight. tried several screens including the original but same problem.
can anyone please point me in the right direction as to where i should start looking.
Have two very angry people who want there phones back..

Hi friends!
Yesterday I took an used iPhone 4 from an auction that I win. This worked great all the night.

Today I opened it to change the broken glass when I find a strange situation. I saw a wire soldered from the middle of the logic board to the upper part. I naively disconnected these strange cable because I thinked that were leavings of Led Apple Mod, but I was wrong. I tried to power on the phone and the FlashLed switched on, then switched off, and now if I try to power on the phone the screen goes black, then shut off, in loop. I saw that the first point of that strange solder was in the C67_PMU but I didn't noticed where the second point was. Maybe in the LP18_RF chip(that is missing)? I saw only that the wire go on the upper part of the board. I don't really know what to do to resurrect this iPhone. I can give you a photo that i took before remove these wires (via PM) if this can help.

Thanks in advance for help
