Hi,

Is new here, so hope this is the right place I ask.

Has got a Ipad 2 GSM (A1454) that there is something wrong with.

Have some knowledge of electronics, but this is really the first iPad I have opened, so it's uncharted territory for me.

The iPad would not turn on, no matter what I did, but if I connected it to Itunes, Itunes registered it as being an Ipad which was set for restore.

If I begin to recover, Itunes makes the connection to the Ipad so the Ipad turn on and the apple appears, and a little after Itunes prepare the connection for restore and the "think bubble" appears below the apple and and a little after the upload bar appear, and then nothing more happens. Itunes only write "waiting for Ipad".

I've tried to leave it for several hours, tried to charge the Ipad for many hours and tested again, no difference.

I opened it, maybe there were obvious signs of errors I could see, but nothing to see.

There was, however, a new problem, for now it starts to have problems, show the graphics on the screen when Itunes tried to recover, sometimes I can only see that the light is on, other times there is only one inch wide strip down the middle of the screen. But right at the beginning, after I had opened it, the graphics shown as normal, however, began to show the graphic as if there was a sync problem, and then the problem was constant.

Are there any suggestions on what I can try? or is it nutteløst, new logical board?

Hi all,

I have an Ipad 4 (A1458), and facing an issue - seems to be the NAND error.

[NAND] _FindFlashMediaAndKeepout :601 physical nand block offset 1
[NAND] start :365...........

Itunes detects the ipad, but nothing more, I tried to unplug front camera, changing battery... still the same.

Does anyone able to help me? (Apple can, but you have to give about 400€...) nice but not fun.

Just Replace That R0704 with a 1k ohm resistor.

Hello to all, i want to share my solution to error 4005-4013

iPhone 5S water damage, dead.

Clean board, remove shorts caps, phone onm but not working well

Simptoms:

- not connecting to usb when phone on
- not charging when phone on

- charging just when phone of, plug in cable, then phone goes on and charging

After more measuring on board, I found cap C283_RF in short.


Now phone alive, charging and restored in itunes with no error
