Member: 821646 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 507 | The IC you are referring to boost IC is a charging mosfet. If the mosfet is heating that doesn't means it is short. Most probably you have short on PP_VDD_Main. You need to remove it and Short its PP_BATT_VCC to PP_VDD_MAIN supply. After you short the supply connect a charged battery or connect it to the DCPS and try to find which part heats up. Once the heating part is located try removing it . Mostly it is some capacitor connected to the VDD_MAIN line. Hope that helps. |
