Member: 1190472 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Had a same problem with a 6s. What i did could help you if you only want a clicking homebutton insteed of using assistivetouch on screen. After this touch-id is not working. Maby it works for a a iPhone 7 the same. I made a wire on the housing of the phone with crocodile clamp and on the otherside a needle. Then i removed the flex comming from the homebutton en put the needle on the contacts on the mainboard to find the pin that acts like homebutton function. (By the 6s it was the sixt pin on the left from above, phone in normal position to you). Then i made a wire from the clicker of the button to the flexconnector and solderd it to the cable. Now i have a working homebutton exept touch-id. Again dont know if this working for for a 7 but i think it will.. Last edited by rb0wag; 05-27-2017 at 17:22. Reason: Spelling |
