Member: 1939450 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 165 | This really depends on the tools your have. If you have a CNC with the molds to remove the back of the icloud board. (like the chinese do.) So the CPU can be easily harvested and you have tools to program/copy eeprom and nand. Then it can be affordable. But you still need to go to some kind of ''mass' production to get your investment back and make money. But if you are starting to be a pro in removing and soldering CPU. Then it is probably even better to start data recovery from dead phone's. because then you only need to replace CPU and NAND an phone will boot. (Will never activate if restore or can be used, but data can be harvested) |

Member: 1825965 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 874 | it is best solution for one reason.. with the hot air at high temperature the magnet keeps perfectly the stencil so it tends not to deform. This avoids compromising the formation of the balls created with the tin paste. Maybe it fails perfectly the first time but then it becomes very rewarding. little minus, they cost too much. anyway , quality has a cost and for 3d stencil attention , not all are the same as in the market are also cheap products that are worth nothing as a result. |

since Magnatic loses its gravity with heating ! that's what I saw (CPU has some iron) but rare you can use nromal strong magnatic to test this ! reballing CPU depends on your skills & tools + experiance = good working one ! 80-90% I agree that there are many many chinese tools to make it as easy as possible ! but also depends on you at last ! I started doing CPU since Nokia my first one was Nokia N73....... Tip: Not all CPUs works after reball maybe works for 1-3 hours maybe dies simply bcus of falls and its cycles etc.... that's what I see in everyday repairs ! Good luck

This is a template for NAND and BB chip with CPU it has nothing to do. Excellent tool for me, but I use without metal stand. The big charm is in the square holes.
