Member: 2291080 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | More Ipad 2 issues Once this issue was resolved i had another issue which was that the 'on' button, volume control, accelerometer and headphone port all stopped working. I opened the Ipad back up again to check the cable that goes into the top of the logic board was seated correctly and everything seemed fine. I put the ipad back together and now the lcd screen will not work. The ipad is definitely on because i can hear it however i cannot get the screen to boot up at all, check the cable and that is securely fitted?!?! Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance :0) |

Member: 2302519 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | The on button and volume control are on the same cable from memory, You are going to have to take it apart and check it hasn't been damaged with taking the screen off/on/off/on I've seen components on the ribbon being crushed that caused a boat load of problems. Thankfully most of the parts in the iPad2 are cheap The screen should work fine even with this cable being damaged its probably not seated right. You can actually test the iPad before bonding the screen to the case. Good luck. |
