New iPad (3rd gen) weird backlight problem - Page 6 - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,

I replaced the filter (one time with iPhone 4 filter, one time just short) & now i'm facing a new problem.

The backlight is good now, but when i turn on my iPad, sometimes (randomly) it dies and reboot. After 1 minute max.

The battery doesn't charge well.
And when the problem appears, I see the screen fade off vertically.

I don't understand why. I need help please

does anyone know what the differances is between the l220 and l210 is? as i need to replace a l220, but i only have a l210 to hand

CRITICAL
FERR-240-OHM-25%-300MA = L2210 & L2200

Backlight filters - this is in schematic, you l220 and l210 wrong designation. Must make sure of what is asked or serious errors can occur

use schematics, enter all part designation in search pdf and voila

oh i get ya, sorry i didnt understand your reply the first time. yes i made a mistake.
l220 and l2201 is what i should of put. is there any real difference between them?

They are identical (300ma antisurge fuse in a nutshell)

I only mentioned designation as could end up looking up a pmic flyback/buck coil lol.

cool will remove the only one i have thats on a dead ipad mini. other one on the mini is already dead lol. thanks for the advice. will fit that a bit later
